Bekir Ersöz
AI Engineer × Industrial Engineer × Technical Founder
Bekir Ersöz is a Turkish artificial intelligence engineer, industrial engineer and technical founder based in İstanbul. He works on systems built on large language models, natural language processing for Turkish, and industrial optimisation. Since May 2024 he has been an AI engineer at Baykar AI and at T3 AI’LE, and he is the founder of Ersoz Industries. In October 2026 he joined Vitadoza as a software engineer.[1][2][3][4]
Education
He began higher education in 2019 with an associate degree in computer programming at Adnan Menderes University, completed in 2021. In 2023 he enrolled in industrial engineering at İstanbul Rumeli University on a full scholarship, and the university also lists a full-scholarship bachelor’s programme in computer engineering for him. In 2026 he began a full-scholarship master’s programme in computer engineering at the same university. He is also enrolled in business administration at İstanbul University and has attended the software engineering programme of 42 The Network.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
At İstanbul Rumeli University he headed the information technology department of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club between 2023 and 2025, and since 2025 he has presided over the Industrial Engineering Student Representative Council.[11][12]
Career
In 2022 he founded STARD, a company building mobile, web and decentralised applications, and led it until 2024. In December 2024 he founded IntelliPlay Studios, whose main project, NeuralBound, is a two-dimensional adventure game that uses large language models to analyse player behaviour and adapt difficulty and opponent behaviour. The studio is no longer active. His current venture is Ersoz Industries.[13][14][3]
Since May 2024 he has worked as an AI engineer at Baykar AI and at T3 AI’LE, the Turkish large language model that Baykar and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation announced in February 2024. He previously worked as a generative AI engineer at Reality AI Lab (December 2024 – May 2025), on LLM workflows and prompt-based systems, and as an AI engineer at Outlier (February – July 2025), evaluating the response quality, reasoning accuracy and instruction-following of language models.[1][2][15][16][17][18]
Research
His research accepted under TÜBİTAK’s 2209-A programme for university students compares mixed-integer programming, reinforcement learning and QUBO approaches to production scheduling that responds to energy prices.[19]
On 6 October 2026 he presented the paper “From Soft Law to Compliance: A Licensing-Linked Framework for Space Debris Prevention, Verification, and Liability in the LEO Economy” (IAC-26.E7.3.1) at the 77th International Astronautical Congress in Antalya. The official programme of the International Astronautical Federation lists it in session E7.3, with the speaker affiliated to the Turkish Technology Team Foundation. The Foundation’s IAC 2026 young researcher support programme backed the work, and regional newspapers reported both its acceptance and its presentation.[20][21][22][23][24]
Competitions, leadership and community
Between December 2023 and September 2025 he led software teams in TEKNOFEST competitions on Turkish natural language processing, agentic Turkish large language models and international UAV communications, and served as software lead of the Aeronormal UAV communications project. He also led a project in Turkish Airlines’ TravelX Ideathon.[25][26][27]
In 2024 he completed McKinsey & Company’s Forward programme and the Aspire Leaders Program of the Aspire Institute. He served as a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador (2024–2025) and is an ambassador for DeepLearning.AI and for HUAWEI Student Developers Türkiye. Since 2024 he has been a scholarship holder and project volunteer of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation.[28][29][30][31][32][33]
